Since we started the business on March 17th 2014, we have achieved some great milestones. Our aim was to give people the opportunity to save money when they sell or let their property, but receive no less of a service, and thanks to our customers, we are doing this for hundreds of people.
We have gone from a 1 person business, to now 5 of us, serving our customers 7 days a week, moved to larger premises to accommodate everyone, and over the past year have agreed more sales in the B77 and B78 postcodes than any other Estate Agent!!
We also implemented a totally impartial feedback system called Feefo, for buyers and sellers to leave us feedback on completion of a sale. We cannot alter or change the feedback, only reply to it, and I am happy to say we currently have more online feedbacks than any other Tamworth Estate Agent.
Like many business owners, we didn’t understand about trademarks, so we didn’t register “My Place” as a trade mark. Consequently, after the business was started, somebody else did, and now they want to charge us extortionate fees to carry on using the name.
As a result, from today, we will begin trading as Next Place Property Agents. This will hopefully be a seamless process. We have also taken the opportunity, based on feedback from customers, to slightly change our logo, and For Sale boards. And yes we have registered the trademark.
How does this affect our customers?
The simple answer is, it doesn’t, its business as usual. Our telephone number is the same, the people are the same, and we will still do all the things we have been doing for the past 17 months, organising viewings, negotiating offers or progressing our customer’s sales to completion. We may have a new name but we will still be offering the exact same service we always have.
